DC Dawgs in the Community
Do you have a few hours to help out for a good cause? Here are some possibilities: Dawgs Feeding Dogs Campaign, Habitat for Humanity, prepare/serve/deliver food, Toys for Tots, gift wrapping during the holidays, planting trees, cleaning and painting public schools, and other ideas you might have. DC Dawgs is looking for a few project coordinators to oversee some of the events we have planned for this year. Please send an email to Community Service Coordinator Evan Glazer with your areas of interest and available times of year.
June 6, 2009 - First Annual DC Dawgs Golf Tournament
Thanks to everyone who participated in the first DC Dawgs Golf Tournament at South Riding Golf Club! We had a great time and raised more than $300 for the UGA Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship and a bookplate of honor in the UGA Library.
A special thanks goes out to our tournament coordinator Robin Muthig for her vision and insight to make this event a success!

DC Dawgs is looking for a few volunteers willing to take the lead in organizing and overseeing some of the events we have planned for this year. Anyone who is interested in taking the lead on one or more of these events, please contact Evan Glazer, to sign-up. In order to offer a wide variety of fun and interesting events for all facets of our local alumni we always need additional support with volunteers and your assistance is greatly appreciated.
