June 6, 2009 - First Annual DC Dawgs Golf Tournament Pictures Posted
Thanks to everyone who participated in the first DC Dawgs Golf Tournament at South Riding Golf Club! We had a great time and raised more than $300 for the UGA Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship and a bookplate of honor in the UGA Library.
A special thanks goes out to our tournament coordinator Robin Muthig for her vision and insight to make this event a success!

Virginia residents - you now have the opportunity to outfit your car, truck, trailer and so forth with Dawg Tags. The challenge is that 350 tags must be pre-purchased by July 4, 2009 for the Virginia DMV to strike the first plates Please visit the Dawg Tag page for additional details and information to get your very own Dawg Tag.

May 9 will signify the end of my undergraduate career at the University and the beginning of life in a scary new world marked by recession and unemployment.
My last semester could have been spent in Athens savoring the college lifestyle and the final days without a 9 to 5, but I chose instead to err on the side of preparedness and left my friends, family and the South behind to participate in the University's Washington Semester Program.
