Virginia Dawg Tags - Show Your Pride on Your Ride
Our Alumni Association is proud to announce that Georgia Dawg Tags are finally a possibility in Virginia. A possibility because 350 of these license plates must be pre-purchased before the Virginia DMV will strike the first tag.
It is now up to the DC Dawgs to promote this program and help the University reach the goal. Not only do we hope you will complete an application for yourself, we need your assistance in spreading the word so we can meet our requirement of 350 completed applications by April 3, 2009. It Takes Just Three Easy Steps:
1. Download and complete the Virginia DMV Application for each vehicle
2. Make your check payable to the UGA Alumni Association
The cost is $25 per application as well as a $5 processing fee per application
3. Send your completed application and check to:

Athens, Ga. 30602
If, by April 3, 2009, enough Dawg Tags have not been pre-purchased the Association will refund all money and the UGA plates will not be available in Virginia. If the number is reached, the forms and payments will be forwarded by the Alumni Association to the Virginia DMV for processing.
Remember, we have only SIX MONTHS to sign up 350 people in Virginia. If there are two vehicles in the driveway you will need two applications … if you have an RV add another application … and so forth. Go Dawgs!
